The Australian Platinum Koala is an Australian platinum bullion coin minted by the Perth Mint and guaranteed by the Federal Government of Australia. Each 1995 1 Kilo (kg) Australian Perth Mint Platinum Koala Coin contains 1 kilogram of .9995 fine platinum. The obverse of the coin includes various images of Queen Elizabeth II and reverse depicts a Koala perched in a eucalyptus tree along with the coin's weight, purity and year.
